Formed Thought is the Graphic Design practice of Michael Stott, currently living and working in Manchester, England. I have worked with clients from across the private, charitable and cultural sectors with a career to date spanning working for a major Advertising agency, In-house roles and freelance clients.

Beaverbrooks

Beaverbrooks wanted to overhaul their Winter Gift Guide for 2012, after poor
pick up on their previous incarnation. I worked as lead designer to review and revitalise their key marketing material, giving them a more prestigious and premium solution. Client and Customer satisfaction resulted in great pick up figures and staff support for the new-look Gift Guide. Produced for BJL.

UKAR

UKAR is the nationalised controller of Bradford & Bingley, Mortgage Express and NRAM. They needed to create a consumer facing brand that unified the brands under the one. Working as the lead designer I created a visual language that helped to softly yet persuasively communicate their service mantra, using a linear illustration to illuminate key messaging and demonstrate that the consumer
is on a safe journey with UKAR in control. Produced for BJL.

Silentnight

SIlentnight are one of the countries premier sleep experts, involved in ensuring the country has a good nights sleep. It was my task to help bring to life the proposal of sleeping aids to go to mass market. Created are the brands, Good Nights and Lights Out. Work produced for BJL.
